"NBA 2K8" Bashes Teammates, Demands Trade

1) There hasn't been a basketball video game that I can recall that has had a realistic fast break, and the same goes for "NBA 2K8." The computer player always manages to back pedal faster than a husband who just gave the incorrect response to, "Do I look fat in theses jeans?", while somehow staying in between my player and the basket, and blocking my passing lane, all at the same time. I have yet to experience a two on one fast break where the computer is at a disadvantage. The closest thing to a fast break is when you get the ball and no one is in front of you.

2) 24/7 mode has been scrapped this year to make way for a slam dunk contest, 3-point contest, and other "blacktop" activities. I didn't like the slam dunk contest in "NBA Live" and I don't like it in this game. There's nothing fun about simulating a slam dunk and then waiting social security disability until it's your turn to dunk again. I would prefer to have 24/7 mode back, even though the story line in last years 24/7 mode was terrible (mostly because it was so cliche).

3) Sometimes the ball goes right through my player's arms when I have clearly jumped in front of it. W-H-A-C-K.

4) Players get locked into animations that force them to step out of bounds or commit back court violations. There have been numerous times when I was being pressured as I was bringing the ball over half court, and my player went into an animation where he put his shoulder down, and attempted to go around pharmacy pharmacists defender. This often ends with my player running to the side and backwards, stepping into the backcourt, or out of bounds. Once this animation starts, you can't stop it.

5) There are no player intros. That's not good for presentation's sake. How are my guys supposed to do roll call without an intro? help moving back know. Roll call. "My-name-is-Kobe. I-shoot-the-ball. I-have-12-teammates. But-I-shoot-the-ball-every-time-anyways-because-I-don't-think-they're-any-good-and-I-demand-to-be-
traded." I know that doesn't rhyme, but I'm pretty sure that's what he says.

6) When inbounding the ball, the computer will throw the ball out of bounds if pressured. The computer will throw the ball the length of the court and out of bounds sometimes if you pressure it during an inbounds pass. That's fine with me, but it's not very realistic.
